摘要: Gas-assisted injection molding is an innovative process that can provide tremendous flexibility in design and manufacturing of plastics parts once it fully understood matured. The research effort presented this article aimed at development Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) technology for gas-assisted molding. To achieve the goal, efforts have been made developing a numerical analysis predicting filling post-filling behavior verifying predictions through collaboration with industry universities. This firstly describes physics process, which leads to various advantages inherent difficulties associated processing. Secondly, discusses methodology numerically modeling simulating dynamics together experimental comparison. At end article, presents applying CAE such as evaluating processes establishing preliminary guidelines. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
