摘要: In this paper, the effects of transit service and parking charges on choice commuters to drive alone, carpool, or use are estimated. The analysis is based data for 20 Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Areas from 1990 Nationwide Personal Transportation Survey, FTA's Section 15, Texas Institute's estimates traffic congestion. Both level likelihood being charged found have significant positive choosing commute. results also indicate that improving access leads a very small increase in transit's mode share, while produces much greater share increase.
