摘要: Despite the increasing knowledge of etiology neuropathic pain, this type chronic pain is resistant to available analgesics in approximately 50% patients and therefore continuously a subject considerable interest for physiologists, neurologists, medicinal chemists, pharmacologists others searching more effective treatment options debilitating condition. The present review article first two articles focused on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). CIPN regarded as one most common drug-induced neuropathies highly pharmacoresistant. lack efficacious pharmacological methods treating preventing its development makes CIPN-related serious therapeutic gap current medicine pharmacotherapy. In paper, recent advances field studies caused by platinum compounds (namely oxaliplatin cisplatin), taxanes, vinca alkaloids bortezomib are summarized. prevalence CIPN, potential causes, risk factors, symptoms molecular mechanisms underlying pharmacoresistant condition discussed.
