摘要: Posterior open bite can cause problems with occlusion. It arises from systemic or local factors such as physical functional interference, ankylosis, and failure of eruption. Primary eruption (PFE) is a rare condition that difficult to differentiate ankylosis requires complex treatment strategies. Here we report 12-year-old girl who was referred our hospital by her dentist for re-evaluation the left maxillary secondary premolar first second molars congenitally missing lateral teeth. The molar extracted therapeutic diagnosis. reacted well subsequent orthodontic treatment. Auto-transplantation mandibular maxil-lary arch carried out achieve optimal overjet, overbite, active period spanned 4 years 1 month. Assessment patient's medical dental history, prior trauma, clinical conditions resulted in diagnosis PFE. Satisfactory results were achieved.
