Isoscalar monopole and dipole strength between 10 and 20 MeV inMg24from inelasticαscattering at and around 0°

摘要: Differential cross sections for inelastic ..cap alpha.. scattering from /sup 24/Mg in the region of 10--20 MeV excitation have been measured at E/sub alpha../ = 120 angular range 0--8/sup 0/. The strength distribution isoscalar monopole and dipole between 11--20 was determined. 90 +- 20% E0 energy-weighted sum rule 56 12% E1, ..delta..T 0 are found to be exhausted this energy region.
