摘要: Following a constant rise in the complexity and scale of peer-to-peer networks, researchers have looked at biological phenomena order to develop self-organized, adaptive, robust management systems. Our focus is on distributed swarm intelligence mechanisms that mimic behavior social insects solve problems such as overlay management, routing, task allocation, resource discovery. A central problem validation novel networking solutions their empirical evaluation under different conditions. Whereas existing network simulation platforms lack specific support for ant-inspired protocols (like transparent agent migration), dedicated frameworks bio-inspired systems fail implement accurate models. To bridge this gap, we introduce framework with techniques realistic underlay based Over Sim. validate our work, describe implementation several swarm-based provide some measurements performance.
