摘要: Sixty seven-days-old plants of Ammi majus L. were subjected for 46 d to sand culture at varying concentrations NaCl, i.e. 0 (control), 40, 80, 120, and 160 mM. Increasing salt caused a significant reduction in fresh dry masses both shoots roots as well seed yield. However, the adverse effect was more pronounced on yield than biomass production vegetative stage. Calculated 50 % shoot mass occurred 156 mM (ca.15.6 mS cm−1), whereas that 104 (ca.10.4 cm−1). As most glycophytes, Na+ Cl− increased, K+ Ca2+ decreased consistently with successive increase level growth medium. Plants A. majusmaintained markedly higher K+/Na+ ratios those roots, ratio remained 1 even highest external (160 mM). Net photosynthetic (PN) transpiration (E) rates unaffected increasing thus these attributes had negative association tolerance majus. Proline content increased salt. Essential oil level. Overall, majusis moderately tolerant crop whose response salinity is associated maintenance high accumulation proline shoots, but PN this crop.
