摘要: The Triffa plain covering about 307 km2 is located in the semiarid region of northeastern Morocco. cover consists Quaternary and Mio-Pliocene formations, including alluvial material, silt, sandstone, limestone, clay, marl, underlain by a sequence Jurassic carbonates clastics. Two principal aquifers occur this region: (1) An unconfined aquifer hosted which opens up on coastal Saidia, giving rise to Ain Chebbak Zebda springs; (2) confined underlying Liassic (Jurassic) composed limestone dolostone. In paper, we present conceptual hydrogeological model for aquifer, laterally into Saidia based borehole data, bedrock geology, hydrodynamic parameters, piezometric maps, time series groundwater level precipitation obtained from several meteorological stations pumping wells. These comprehensive data were incorporated Geographic Information System platform processed using modeling software, with development numerical its limitations discussed detail work. Subsequently, evaluated impact climate change assuming three different scenarios developed Intergovernmental Panel Climate Change. B1—low, A1B—mean, A1F1—extreme scenarios, modeled simulating decrease recharge all study area year 2099 that would correspond 9, 19, 47%, respectively. calibration steady transient states produced good agreement between observed simulated heads. simulation highlights drawdown occurring region. This work can significantly help authorities sustainable management exploitation local groundwater.
