摘要: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune inflammatory disease of the central nervous system, which affects over 2.5 million people worldwide. Although MS has been extensively studied, many challenges still remain in regards to treatment, diagnosis and prognosis. Typically, prognosis individual responses treatment are evaluated by clinical tests such as expanded disability status scale, MRI presence oligoclonal bands cerebrospinal fluid. However, none these measures correlates strongly with efficacy or progression across heterogeneous patient populations subtypes MS. Numerous studies past decades have attempted identify sensitive specific biomarkers for diagnosis, The objective this article review discuss current literature on body fluid MS, including research potential biomarker candidates areas miRNA, mRNA, lipids proteins.
