摘要: Background Translocations involving chromosome band 11q23 are very frequent in both acute lymphoblastic and myeloid leukemias the most common genetic alteration infants with leukemia. In all age groups phenotypes of leukemia, an translocation carries a poor prognosis. A major question has been whether one or several genes on implicated these leukemias. Previously, we identified chromosomal breakpoint region translocations subsequently cloned gene named MLL that spans breakpoint. Methods We isolated 0.74-kb BamHI fragment from complementary DNA (cDNA) clone gene.
