摘要: This study demonstrated a forward osmosis-membrane distillation (FO-MD) hybrid system for real human urine treatment. A series of NaCl solutions at different concentrations were adopted draw in FO process, which also the feed MD process. To establish stable and continuous integrated FO-MD system, individual process with direct contact membrane (DCMD) temperatures firstly investigated separately. Four equilibrium conditions obtained from matching water transfer rates processes. It was found that is sustainable when rate subsystem equal to subsystem. The rejections main contaminants investigated. Although had relatively high rejection Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Nitrogen (TN) Ammonium (NH4(+)-N) urine, these could accumulate solution after long term performance. provided an effective revealed nearly complete TOC, TN NH4(+)-N. work potential treatment some fields such as regeneration space station or nutrient recovery source-separated urine.
