摘要: To analyze the effect of lecithinized superoxide dismutase (SOD) on accumulation after traumatic brain injury (TBI) in rats, we studied SOD activity by NBT-reducing method and expression Cu,Zn-SOD mRNA Northern blot analysis. As determined specific gravity method, administration decreased edema periphery lesion at 6 hr contusion. activity, without administration, increased peripheral portion 30 min contusion, but to normal level TBI. By SOD, increase was preserved until The core lesion, portion, contralateral hemisphere TBI, then suppressed all three areas SOD. These results support hypothesis that anions may play an important role development leciyhinized appears prevent through a protective against anions.
