摘要: ▪ Abstract More than a decade ago the IRAS satellite opened realm of external galaxies for studies in 10 to 100 μm band and discovered emission from tens thousands normal active galaxies. With 1995–1998 mission Infrared Space Observatory1, next major steps extragalactic infrared astronomy became possible: detailed imaging, spectroscopy, spectrophotometry many detected by IRAS, as well deep surveys mid- far-IR. The spectroscopic data reveal wealth detail about nature energy source(s) physical conditions ISO's first time explore distant, high-redshift main theme is role star formation activity evolution
