摘要: Fuel injectors with intensified fuel storage and methods of operating an engine therewith. At least one cavity is provided in the intensifier type injector, a check valve between needle chamber preventing loss injection pressure while plunger cylinder refilling fuel. This provides very efficient injector operation, particularly at low loads, by eliminating wasted energy compressing, venting recompressing for injection. Various designs same are disclosed.
