摘要: Abstract The effect of the main means agitation in a high shear mixer has been investigated this study. Granulation runs have performed on fine cohesive microcrystalline cellulose powder (Avicel 105, d 50  = 20 μm) often used as pharmaceutical excipient tablet formulations two bowls Mi-Pro® laboratory with capacity 0.9 and 1.9 L, respectively. Torque curves recorded during granulation are found to allow good control process while increasing impeller speed is generally reduce granule size onset breakage seems occur for similar values tip speed. As general rule, chopper allows better binder distribution be necessary successful at low moderate speeds. For speeds excess 4.4 m/s or without chopper, sizes growth mechanisms observed. Granule roundness was increase up certain after which decrease most probably because increased granules. Dry strength speed, presenting only slight highest studied.
