摘要: ABSTRACT The results of biaxial fatigue tests on thin wall steel cylinders covering a range principal stress amplitude ratio, out-of-phase angle and frequency ratio are reported discussed. Four different types crack growth behaviour have been identified in these tests, depending the state multiaxial existing. Uniaxial push-pull test data cannot be used as being generally representative conditions. Each particular type can correlated by Tresca shear criterion failure.
