摘要: Objective To identify and quantify public preferences for attributes of newborn screening conditions. Study design We conducted an online national survey the (n = 502) to evaluate candidate Respondents were presented with hypothetical condition profiles that defined using 10 2-6 levels per attribute. Participants indicated whether they would recommend a which most least important when making this decision (best–worst scaling). Difference scores calculated stratified by recommendation (recommend or not screening). Regression analyses used effect on choice screen screen. Results The number babies diagnosed was those who profile, age at treatment start screening. Cost considered be key attribute, effectiveness impact diagnosis through low importance both groups. Conclusion Public identified methods provide adequate baseline understanding can inform decisions.
