摘要: The impact damages occur during normal operation of many structural elements, primarily in the aircraft structures, but also ground machinery, whose elements made polymeric composites. According to specific conic-shaped character initiation and propagation it is often difficult analyze damage extent basing on surface characterization only. Moreover, shape impacted body has a significant influence resulted damage. In following paper impactor geometry was analyzed force responses area damages, which were obtained using transmitted light imaging technique image processing methods. results allowed for comparison states conclusions about characteristic stress distributions various geometries impactors.
