摘要: Abstract Conduction of polycrystalline BaTiO 3 in the presence water vapor has been investigated using a concentration cell with barium titanate as solid electrolyte. At constant oxygen potential across electrolyte, transference number ions within electrolyte increased higher concentrations anode compartment cell. The ionic conductivity (at fixed temperature) was attributed to mobile proton and hydroxyl groups and/or an increase native point defects ceramic.
