Automated storage and retrieval of thin-section CT images to assist diagnosis: system description and preliminary assessment.

摘要: A software system and database for computer-aided diagnosis with thin-section computed tomographic (CT) images of the chest was designed implemented. When presented an unknown query image, uses pattern recognition to retrieve visually similar known diagnoses from database. preliminary validation trial conducted 11 volunteers who were asked select best a series test images, without assistance. The percentage correct answers increased 29% 62% computer This finding suggests that this may be useful computer-assisted diagnosis.
