Diagnóstico de la toxocarosis humana

摘要: Human toxocarosis is an important parasitic zoonosis caused by larval stages of Toxocara species, the roundworms from dogs and cats. Larval migration through different soft tissues in human generates several clinical entities patient, such as visceral larva migrans, ocular toxocarosis, neurotoxocarosis. Definitive diagnosis histopathological methods very difficult or almost impossible and, nowadays, usually made signs/symptoms, epidemiological background patient use hematological immunological tests which finally help to confirm suspicion illness. The purpose this paper was update available knowledge on tools for both following up toxocarosis.
