摘要: The kinetics of orthokinetic flocculation a dilute monodispersed polystyrene suspension initially coated with aluminum hydrolysis products (AHP) and destabilized by sulfate ion addition can be described modified Saffman Turner kinetic model. modifications include: (1) substituting for the collision efficiency parameter an expression which includes effect hydrodynamic forces, as well double‐layer repulsion van der Waals attraction on particleparticle interaction; (2) relating volume fraction, ϕ, to amount adsorbed AHP; (3) assuming that unadsorbed AHPs are deposited particle function time after addition. rate uptake AHP is assumed surface chemical conditions; probably transported flocculating particles coagulating microcrystals or aggregating polymeric forms, consequently ϕ increases time.
