摘要: Abstract This study assessed the state of melatonin MT 1 receptor coupling in sections male rat caudal arteries by [ 35 S]GTPγS binding autoradiography. The inverse agonist 4-phenyl-2-propionamidotetraline (4P-PDOT) (0.1–1 μM) significantly decreased compared to basal, strongly suggesting presence constitutively active receptors. Formation receptors during subjective day, when levels are low, may be a physiological mechanism which organism maintains vascular tone.
