Believing and Perceiving: Authorship Belief Modulates Sensory Attenuation

摘要: Sensory attenuation refers to the observation that self-generated stimuli are attenuated, both in terms of their phenomenology and cortical response compared same when generated externally. Accordingly, it has been assumed sensory might help individuals determine whether a event was caused by themselves or not. In present study, we investigated this dependency is reciprocal, namely modulated prior beliefs authorship.
