摘要: Abstract The ultrastructure of the etiological agent equine ehrlichiosis, Ehrlichia equi, was studied in peripheral leukocytes. The organisms occurred within membrane-lined cytoplasmic vacuoles neutrophils and eosinophils. Ovoid, round, rod-shaped profiles were observed. From 1 to 33 present a thin-section profile vacuole. Many cells contained multiple organism-containing vacuoles. had cell wall plasma membrane, internally they consisted electron-dense lucid areas. A great variation size morphological features most consistent with agents genus Ehrlichia.
