摘要: Three Piper species, longum, P. ribesoides and sarmentosum, were selected for investigation of adulticidal potential against Stegomyia aegypti, a main vector dengue haemorrhagic fever. Successive extraction by maceration with 95% ethanol showed percentage yields ethanolic extracts, which derived from 8.89, 3.21 5.30% (w/w), respectively. All extracts illustrated an impressive activity when tested female mosquitoes topical application. The susceptibility St. aegypti females to ethanol-extracted was dose dependent varied among the plant species. highest effect established followed LD50 values 0.14, 0.15 0.26 microg/female, these as possible mosquitocides, convincing further researches develop natural substances combat adult mosquitoes.
