摘要: Since it was first recognised that human papillonaviruses (HPV) caused lesions of the cervix other than classical condyloma, colposcope has proved an essential aid in their recognition. The instrument enables clinicians to identify sites infected by virus and provide accurately selected tissue for laboratory studies (Fig.1). Were method unavailable, is doubtful whether our current understanding HPV disorders genital tract could have been attained.
