摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on number of major trends underlying the continuing effort to realize practical optoelectronic, electronic, and information-processing devices based ensembles quantum dots assembled in a variety matrix materials. The great diversity such structures has opened possibility numerous device applications stimulated research photoluminescent devices, light-emitting diodes, displays, photodetectors, photovoltaic solar cells, novel spin-based devices. It is expected that these will continue thrive due enormous possible embodiments with colloidal available reviews dots. Although are studied since pioneering work Michael Faraday, it self-assembled during growth two-dimensional semiconductor surface were initially over last two decades by international community.
