摘要: Introduction Because little is known about the effects of maternal position on periodic changes in heart rate (MHR) late pregnancy, a prospective observational study was done at Tygerberg Academic Hospital Cape Town. Pregnant women admitted for elective cesarean section were studied to determine effect and fetal rates (FHR) blood pressure. Material methods Continuous transabdominal non-invasive recording MHR, FHR patterns uterine activity 1 h 119 women, using AN24 device from Monica Health Care. Maternal changed every 15 min lateral supine, then other finally supine again. Blood pressure measured left arm lower leg three times during each 15-min period. Results MHRs four beats per minute slower than right position. Periodic MHR seen 13 (10.9%) women. Most these (84.6%) associated with not No observed after changes. Conclusions In subgroup pregnant term, decelerations MHR. In low risk pregnancies there seems be no pattern. Implications compromised fetus have yet been investigated.
