摘要: Sensitivity studies for low‐frequency crosswell electromagnetics (EM) show that the region contributing to response is quasi‐ellipsoidal in shape and encompasses both source receiver. The strongest originates from immediate vicinity of receiver, but measurable contributions are also produced interwell region. Side lobes opposite sign present outside contribution increases markedly elongated (2-D) geological features increasing frequency. horizontal magnetic‐field component as a result vertical sensitive changes conductivity receiver well and, when receivers aligned, relatively insensitive any distribution at transmitter well.
