摘要: The effect of growth factors on the formation cardiac mesoderm in urodele, Ambystoma mexicanum (axolotl), has been examined using an vitro explant system. It previously shown that is induced by pharyngeal endoderm during neurula stages urodeles. In this study, explants prospective from early stage embryos rarely formed beating tissue culture. When transforming factor beta-1 (TGF-beta 1) or platelet-derived BB (PDGF) was added to such explants, frequency heart increased markedly. addition other these did not enhance formation. basic fibroblast (bFGF) derived later resulted a decreased tendency form tissue. These results suggest analogous TGF-beta 1, PDGF, and bFGF may regulate initial vertebrate development vivo.
