摘要: Excess of fat intake is dramatically increasing in women childbearing age and results numerous health complications, including reproductive disorders. Using rabbit does as a biomedical model, the aim this study was to evaluate onset puberty, endocrine responses stimulation ovarian follicular maturation females fed high cholesterol diet (HH diet) from 10 weeks (i.e., 2 before normal puberty) or control (C diet). Three experiments were performed, each 8 treated group) does. In experiment 1, response Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) evaluated at 13, 18 22 age. 2, population counted ovaries adult (18 age). 3, LH mating steroid profiles throughout gestation Fetal growth monitored by ultrasound offspring birth weight recorded. Data showed significantly higher Luteinizing (LH) after induction ovulation 13 HH group. There no difference weeks, but GnRH reduced The number atretic follicles increased antral vs. controls. During gestation, induced intra-uterine retardation (IUGR). administered puberty onwards affected growth, hormonal breeding relation lead fetal IUGR.
