摘要: Glass-based soft-edged aperture filters having good thermal stability are produced by diffusing a coloring element such as Ag into glass, thus providing transmittance gradient in the colored portion thereof. A glass composition comprising basic silicate, borosilicate or phosphate and 1 to 10% weight of As2 O3 and/or Sb2 is especially suitable for producing filters.
