摘要: In an earlier article (Buck-Morss, 1975) I brought together two previously separate areas of discourse, Piaget’s theory cognitive development and Adorno’s philosophy negative dialectics. The essay was attempt to account for the fact that in cross-cultural application Piaget tests, non-Western children score significantly lower than their Western peers, implying former, particularly Third World countries, is some way retarded (see Dasen, 1972).
