摘要: Guidelines conduce to establish consistent standards of therapy and contribute the orientation safeguard attending physician. Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) may be classified according its stage as intermittent claudication, chronic critical limb ischemia or acute ischemia. Since these diseases are common life-threatening, current guidelines major interest for physician, not least because forensic reasons. This overview describes principles diagnosis well recent developments in peripheral endovascular intervention. Current national international guidelines, particularly Transatlantic Intersociety Consensus (TASC), were taken into account.
