摘要: Almost 1 billion hectares of land in the world is affected by salinity and over 50% irrigated lands have problems (Flowers Yeo, 1995). Salinization has been identified as a major process leading to desertification agricultural lands. The salinization arable mostly (but not solely) caused human activities, it associated with malpractices irrigation projects, arid semiarid countries. Soil can also result from natural processes, such inland intrusion seawater (i.e. coastal areas West Africa northeast China) or due continuous evaporation shallow aquifers desert environments regions north Pampas del Tamarugal Chile).
