摘要: Fish scale (FS) loaded TiO2 composites were investigated as photocatalysts in degradation of Methyl Orange under solar light irradiation. Composites prepared through sol-gel method by varying mass ratio TiO2/FS at 90:10, 70:30 and 50:50, respectively. The catalysts this study characterized using XRD, SEM, FT-IR nitrogen sorption. effects irradiation, composites, irradiation time catalyst loadings studied. Synergistic effect was found 90:10 composite which performed higher photocatalytic than synthesized However, further increasing fish content the reduced activity drastically. Under all exhibited activity, except 50:50 that only acted a weak biosorbent without performing any property. Photocatalytic increased with loading but decreased initial dye concentration.
