摘要: Regular physical activity has numerous documented health benefits for the general population. Improved metabolic, physiologic, psychological, and cognitive is evidenced by decreased morbidity mortality in those who maintain an active lifestyle. While it may seem intuitive that exercise would promote similar among pregnant postpartum women, applicable research recommendations have historically lagged behind targeted to adult Recent advances perinatal begun demonstrate beneficial effects both mother offspring relation pregnancy outcomes, chronic disease risk, psychological well-being. Federal American College of Obstetrics Gynecology guidelines now recommend regular activity/exercise women given many benefits, absence risks, from these women. However, do not meet guidelines. Knowledge dissemination importance populations crucial offspring. Future needed help solidify parameters most effective optimization prenatal, postpartum, outcomes.
