摘要: Abstract 1)Stiffness of the posterior deltoid is as a causative factor in limited range glenohumeral horizontal adduction and various other shoulder pathologies including impingement syndrome, frozen shoulder, humerus anterior glide syndrome. The purpose this study was to compare effects two techniques (soft tissue massage cross-body stretch) on increasing adduction. Thirty-two subjects with 10° or greater difference between right left sides hori-zontal were selected. Sixteen from each group allocated randomly. Interventions applied six occasions for 2 weeks, measured using an inclinometer at pre-and post-intervention. A 2×2 analysis variance (intervention×time) used techniques. In soft group, angle ad-duction significantly increased compared stretch group. These findings indicate that muscle more effective method increase flexi-bility adduction.Key Words: Cross-body stretch; Glenohumeral adduction; Posterior deltoid; Soft massage.
