Red’n’blues: A New Species of Pseudotrapelus (Agamidae, Sauria) from Sudan, Africa

摘要: A new species of Pseudotrapelus from Sudan, Africa is described. It differs morphologically all other in its unique coloration — chocolate-red with white ocelli, also 3 rd toe being longer than the 4 th (but 16 lamellae under toe), and one row 6 unseparated precloacal pores males. This has 14.3% genetic divergence P. sinaitus , 14.7% aqabensis dhofarensis jensvindumi (by mtDNA COI gene). Taxonomic relationships African need further investigations.
