摘要: INNOTRACK is a project funded under the European Commission Sixth Framework research program. The aims to develop approaches capable of achieving 30% reduction in track life-cycle costs (LCCs). As part cost consolidation exercise within project, it was identified that switch and crossing maintenance inspections account for around 19% total costs. Improved condition monitoring can be used as condition-based regime, which saves money over traditional periodic maintenance. This paper presents novel algorithm has been developed, uses qualitative trend analysis detect diagnose incipient faults switches, have difficult using current commercial methods. demonstrated fault simulation data collected from DC electric actuators type widespread United Kingdom. increased diagnosis capability potential contribute significantly towards achievement LCCs.
