摘要: Myelodysplastic syndromes are a heterogeneous group of diseases characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis and the propensity to leukemic transformation. Their pathogenesis is complex likely depends on interplay between aberrant hematopoietic cells their microenvironment. How niche play role in disease evolution poorly defined, but delineation stem cell ability interrogate its animal models have furthered our insights recent years. The data support view which microenvironment can an active myelodysplasia myeloproliferative disorders, thus providing further rationale explore therapeutic targeting mesenchymal-hematopoietic interactions these diseases.
