摘要: This is the case of a patient with history chronic alcohol consumption, who consulted for nonspecific abdominal pain, intermittent fever, and weight loss, subsequent increase in perimeter. Ascites imaging findings suggestive cirrhosis were found. The study ascitic fluid was non-hypertensive predominance lymphocytes elevated adenosine deaminase (ADA) levels. Ultrasound tomography showed peritoneal thickening. Laparoscopic biopsy compatible granulomatous disease, positive PCR Mycobacterium tuberculosis no other causes immunosuppression. report shows importance keeping high index suspicion TB patients pathology, even those without evident inmunocompromise.
