Sixty years of citation analysis studies in the humanities (1951–2010)

摘要: This article provides an overview of studies that have used citation analysis in the field humanities period 1951 to 2010. The work is based on exhaustive search databases—particularly those library and information science—and chaining from papers analysis. results confirm use this technique limited, although there was some growth 1970s 1980s, it has stagnated past 2 decades. Most been done by research staff, but almost one third involves 15% students. study also showed less than fourth works a database such as Arts & Humanities Citation Index 21% were publications other science journals. United States greatest output, English far most frequently language, 13.9% are languages.
