摘要: Background Anxious depression, defined as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with high levels of anxiety symptoms, may represent a relatively common depressive subtype, distinctive features. Objective The objective this study was to determine the prevalence anxious depression and define its clinical correlates symptom patterns. Method Baseline sociodemographic data were collected on 1450 subjects participating in STAR*D study. A baseline Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAM-D) Anxiety/ Somatization factor score > or =7 considered indicative depression. types degree concurrent psychiatric symptoms measured using Psychiatric Diagnostic Screening Questionnaire (PDSQ), by recording number items endorsed participants each diagnostic category. MDD assessed telephone interview 30-item Inventory Symptomatology (IDS-C30). Results population 46 %. Patients significantly more likely be older, unemployed, less educated, severely depressed, have suicidal ideation before after adjustment severity As far are concerned, patients endorse related generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive, panic, post-traumatic stress, agoraphobia, hypochondriasis, somatoform disorders Anxious-depression individuals also IDS-C30 concerning atypical features, melancholic/endogenous Conclusion This supports specific associated (anxious depression).
