摘要: A technique is presented to improve the performance of a photovoltaic (PV) powered permanent magnet DC motor coupled screw-type volumetric water pump. The method uses solid-state electric array reconfiguration controller (EARC), which senses radiation as low, medium, or high. chooses one favorable set I-V characteristics for starting and another steady-state operation. This done by switching solar panels, depending upon current requirements irradiance level, from parallel series-parallel series connection. produces sufficient current, especially at low medium levels, considerably improves pump's performance, particularly in early morning, late evening, on cloudy days, providing valuable extra pumping hours user. >
