摘要: We report the two-dimensionsal compressibility of electrochemically deposited lead on silver (111). Measurements were made in situ (in contact with solution) using grazing incidence x-ray scattering. Between monolayer formation and bulk deposition, near-neighbor distance decreases linearly applied potential. Since is equilibrium solution, isothermal can be calculated 0.98 A/sup 2//eV. This good agreement that a two-dimensional, free-electron gas.
