摘要: Abstract Measurements of acoustic emission (AE) from a range four unirradiated nuclear graphites during three-point bend tests are reported. Results in agreement with the trends found earlier work using different AE apparatus. The technique is applied to testing small beam specimens cut irradiated Civil Advanced Gas-cooled Reactor (CAGR) graphite fuel sleeves after discharge reactor. information explained by considering separately known changes microstructure that occur reactor due radiolytic oxidation and fast neutron irradiation. Coarsening material increases total number events proportion low amplitude. Fast irradiation fracture stress makes stress-strain curve more linear. As consequence, reduced along
