摘要: We developed a new approach to synthesize MOF seeds by directly growing ZIF-8 from zinc hydroxide nanostrands (ZHNs)/gelatin composite thin films. The were anchored firmly and partially in the gelatin film, which could overcome poor bonding between substrate layer. Using these seeds, after second growth, dense well intergrown ZIF-8/gelatine film membrane was obtained. different proportions of mixed with ZHNs influenced density accordingly affecting quality final ZIF-8/gelatin membranes. continuous membranes layer about 2 μm, exhibited H2 permeance 7.68 × 10−6 mol s−1 Pa−1 m−2 at room temperature, ideal selectivities for H2/CH4 H2/N2 gases 14.2 9.4, respectively, far beyond Knudsen selectivity. Similarly, an HKUST-1 seeds/gelatin also synthesized. This process holds potential synthesis other on various substrates.
