摘要: Prolonged drought stress combined with high leaf temperatures can induce programmed senescence involving lipid peroxidation, and the loss of net carbon assimilation during early stages tree mortality. Periodic droughts are known to widespread mortality in Amazon rainforest, but little is about role peroxidation drought-induced senescence. In this study, we present observations green volatile (GLV) emissions membrane processes associated effects from individual detached leaves a rainforest ecosystem central Amazon. Temperature-dependent terpenoids were observed morning, together transpiration photosynthesis, showed post-midday depression. This depression was stimulation C₅ C₆ GLV emissions, which continued increase throughout late afternoon temperature-independent fashion. During 2010 Basin, resulted mortality, (C₆ GLVs) build up within forest canopy atmosphere, likely enhanced processes. The results suggest that GLVs tropical boundary layer could be used as chemical sensor reduced productivity stress.
